Southwest Harbor Public library hosts a screening of the new Dobbs Productions documentary, which brings George B. Dorr’s memoir The Story of Acadia National Park to the big screen. Hundreds of archival photos, paintings, and maps and the storytelling voice of Jack Perkins, all set to the music of COA’s John Cooper, help tell the story of how Dorr became known as “The Father of Acadia National Park.” The film premiered in September 2016.
This showing is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and preregistration is required.
