The Shore Path Cottage, named for its proximity to the scenic and historic Shore Path that skirts Frenchman Bay, is a charming (circa 1880) B & B directly on the water. Located on a quiet street in town and within easy access to Acadia National Park, you can walk to all activities, shops, and restaurants along the Shore Path, a beautiful walk along Maine’s exquisite coast with views of the Porcupine Islands. Watch the sunrise and sunset from your private bedroom windows. Marvel at the starry night sky as you look over the bay from our front porch or from a chair on our wide spacious lawn.
Shore Path Cottage has been family owned and operated for 35 years. Our rooms are named for the Chester children, several of whom provide personalized service for the comfort and enjoyment of our guests. A full breakfast is provided and we are happy to accommodate special diets. Whether you are traveling alone, or with family and friends, the Shore Path Cottage is a special place to begin and end your day.
We look forward to welcoming guests to Acadia National Park and sharing our local knowledge of Acadia: sharing our love for the park, its history, our favorite hiking trails, places to swim, and places of special interest, to enhance each guest’s experience during their stay.
