Fine Art Photography printed on archival paper using archival inks.
For over forty years, Jim and Nancy Howren have been traveling to Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park. We have formed a bond with Acadia, which has crept into each of our hearts, allowing us to capture its beauty through our eyes. From the mountains to the sea and the lakes in between, we have chosen to capture these images for those who wish to remember and for those who dare to dream.
Nature is constantly changing. We must stop at every turn to capture its beauty for it is ever fleeting. A moment captured is but another moment’s memory.
Nancy’s work is represented by The Gallery at Somes Sound located in Somesville, Maine on Mt. Desert Island and can be seen at the gallery. The gallery is located in one of the picturesque villages which can be found throughout Acadia National Park.
In Alexandria, VA, Jim and Nancy’s work can be seen at The Art League in The Torpedo Factory in “Gallery 75”. Our work has been on display at the Bath County Art Show in Hot Springs, VA and Alexandria City Hall. Nancy’s work has been exhibited at The National Institutes of Health in 2014 and 2016.
