Jennifer lives and works in Northeast Harbor from her home studio. Her favorite mediums are hand rendered paper cutting, painting, collage, and illustration, and she is largely inspired by the patterns and forms she sees in nature and her life on the coast of Maine. Her original work can be seen in shops and galleries around Mount Desert Island. She has also exhibited across the US. She also does freelance editorial and licensing work with patterns and designs that are sold on a wide number of books and products nationwide.
Jennifer intends to create an original hand rendered paper cutting that features all the mountains and bodies of water (and their names) inside the silhouette of MDI, and will offer for sale an edition of 100 laser cut prints of the design, with a portion of the proceeds going to Friends of Acadia. She also hopes to exhibit the original design locally in 2016. She’s excited to partner with Friends of Acadia and support the Centennial efforts for this beautiful place she calls home.
