Maine author and retired park ranger/supervisor Tim Caverly has written and published six books about Maine’s northern forest and the Allagash River corridor. New England’s designated “wild river” and part of the National Park’s Service Wild and Scenic River program. To date our books have been shipped throughout the U.S. and all over the world. We have also donated over 1,500 books to 132 New England Schools, provided 148 programs to over 5,000 students as part of our “New England” reads programs to encourage people of all ages to read and explore our natural world.
Through power point programs, we plan on reaching out to schools, libraries and organizations throughout New England during which Tim Caverly will compare the protective status of Acadia National Park as it relates to the Allagash River’s Wild and Scenic River protection.
