Our frame shop and gallery is located on historic Main Street in Bar Harbor.
We specialize in the finest quality design and custom framing of fine art, not so fine art, photography, objects and memorabilia.
Suzanne Belmore, with years of experience and artistic talent, heads our framing operation. The gallery displays original work of outstanding guest artists, and features the permanent collections of wildlife and nature photographer, George Sanker, and painter, Tom Sanker.
We also offer expert digital repair, restoration and archival reproduction of your original art, vintage photography, and family archives.
Acadia Frameworks loves nature and wildlife.
Acadia National Park is all about nature and wildlife. Few things in life are as exciting and spiritually rewearding as waiting in the shadows of the day’s first light, at the edge of a mountain stream or pond, a clearing in an ancient forest, or a pristine ocean cove, to see what nature brings, whether the warmth of the sun, the anticipation of a dramatic ocean storm, or the emergence from the woods of a magnificent wild animal.
There are two landmark centennials being celebrated in Acadia National Park in 2016. The park of course, and the creation of the National Park Service.
Our gallery will therefore celebrate nature and America’s national parks, by displaying beautiful photography and art from Acadia National Park and other iconic national parks – Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Everglades. We will demonstrate different ways to view and hang art – from exquisite canvas gallery wraps to museum quality custom frames using high tech “invisible” glass.
