Date: Wednesday Jul 20, 2016
Time: 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
In honor of the Acadia National Park centennial, the Land & Garden Preserve’s 2016 Lantern Stroll at the Asticou Azalea Garden will pay homage to Charles Savage, creator of the garden and third generation of innkeepers who opened their homes to the early rusticators, welcomed summer residents, and were the forebears of what has become a thriving hospitality industry.
Come experience the beauty of the Garden at night as we transform it into a magical place. Paper lanterns will hang gracefully throughout the Garden illuminating the pathways, and floating lanterns will glide gently across the pond. Traditional Japanese koto music will once again be played by Wendilee Heath O’Brien. We look forward to seeing you there!Location: Asticou Azalea Garden,Northeast Harbor, ME
