“The End of Night” Astronomy Program

On Thursday, Feb. 25, join members of the Acadia Astronomical Society for a short film, discussion, and nighttime star gazing (if weather permits). In the book The End of Night: Searching for Natural Darkness in an Age of Artificial Light, Paul Bogard talks about the importance of darkness—what we’ve lost, what we still have, and what we might regain—and the simple ways we can reduce the brightness of our nights.
