This summer, Alison Chase/Performance will bring outdoor pop-up performances to the Schoodic Arts for All community in Winter Harbor. This renowned contemporary dance company will present family-friendly repertoire favorites and new works that bring humor, illusion, athleticism, and movement innovation to the site-specific stage. These works will include Monkey and The White Bone Demon, Red Weather, Tracings and In the Forest of the Night. Musical accompaniment will be provided by the Atlantic Clarion Steel Band. Part performance, part dance party, join us for this celebration of movement outdoors along the coast of Maine (come by land or by sea!).
Made possible with support from the Maine Community Foundation. With thanks to our co-sponsor, the Schoodic Institute for helping make this performance possible.
This is an outdoor performance at Rockefeller Hall on the SERC campus. Bring a chair or sit-upon. Rain location is at Hammond Hall, 427 Main Street, Winter Harbor, Maine.
