Colored Pencil Renderings of Acadia National Park

Date: Saturday Mar 05, 2016 - Saturday May 07, 2016

An Art Exhibit by Theresa Blaisdell – Colored Pencil Renderings of Acadia National Park

“I started doing art in elementary school when I illustrated a children’s’ book I wrote . . . My father is also an artist, which was an early inspiration for me. I went on to study studio art in the New England School of Art and Design, Southeastern Massachusetts University for Fine Arts and Montserratt College of Art, all in Massachusetts. I belonged to 4 Art Association, also in Massachusetts, and continued my art studies privately.

“I began to pursue my art in earnest, often selling my work, freelancing and exhibiting. Over the years my style has changed but my love for art has only grown deeper.

“My work in this exhibit is Acadia national Park related – colored pencil renderings. I recently visited Acadia National Park, where I took several snapshots of scenes I really loved. I hope you enjoy this showing as much as I have enjoyed bringing it to you . . . Thank you – Teresa.”
