In 2016, Acadia Trad School will dedicate the Acadia Halls Festival to the 100-year anniversary of Acadia National Park. Acadia Halls celebrates old and modern small venues on Mount Desert Island. The music is traditional music that is rooted in the heritage of Maine settlers including Acadian, Irish, Old-Time, and Scottish styles rooted in the cultures of kitchen parties, grange halls, and contra dances.

Location: Most of the events are hosted at the College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor. The festival is run by the Acadia School of Traditional Music & Arts. See the Acadia Trad School web site for events around Mount Desert Island.
