“100 Words for Acadia” Flash Writing Contest

Description:

100 WORDS FOR ACADIA invites writers of all stripes to pen an original 100-word piece about Acadia in any genre, be it a poem, story, editorial, song, letter, or something else entirely.

All entries will be judged on literary merit. There is no entry fee. Submissions will be accepted from September 1 to September 30, 2016. In November 2016, one adult first-place winner, two adult runners-up (18 and older), and one youth first-place winner, two youth runners-up (17 and younger) will be notified.

Prizes include publication and $300 cash prize (each) for one adult and one youth first-place winner, plus Acadia-related books and other great items.
