Centennial Partners

Part of what makes Acadia unique among national parks is its closely interwoven border—and relationship—with the coastal Maine communities that surround it. Acadia’s centennial celebration has been a grassroots and broad-based series of events that models a strong relationship between a national park and its surrounding communities. The heart of the celebration has been the Acadia Centennial Partners.

In 2016, these organizations, businesses, and individuals celebrated their relationship to Acadia by planning and hosting events, designing and selling products, or making a donation tied to the Centennial. Follow the links below to explore each partner’s offerings.

Note that not all Acadia Centennial Partners (ACPs) created a profile page here. The tally of ACPs topped 450 by the end of 2016. We are grateful to each and every one of them for their contributions to this extraordinary year!
